Alright, so I'm looking for a new wood bat for the summer leagues I'm in. I've been a Marucci kinda guy for the last couple summers but kind of want to try something else. What do you think?

To be honest, pretty sure it broke in my second AB but I got walked,Still got 3 more solid hacks out of it the next AB before I got jammed. Still got a solid ground ball to the 2b but it just split from the handle to the barrel.
Just bought a new one today.
Comment by Ben Cooke on June 6, 2012 at 5:55pm i agree with nick the Mizuno Bamboo's arent to expensive and are really sturdy i love hitting with them!
Comment by Alec Mitchell on June 6, 2012 at 1:29am If you want a bat that won't break get the demarini composite. It won't break. It's a little heavier but some people like it like me and a few teammates. Some say it has less pop, but I'd disagree. It's around 120 bucks.
Comment by Michael Colosimo on June 6, 2012 at 12:01am Mizuno maple are legit. Had one that lasted 3 1/2 years through high school and summer tourneys. A lot of pop for a wood bat and pretty balanced. Bamboo will last long though but i'm not much of a bamboo kinda guy.
Comment by Simeon Mercer on June 5, 2012 at 2:39pm M9 is a solid, bat i broke on last night.. got it for 65. but never ever buy bamboo. they may have a warranty and pop, but you drive the ball a lot further with maple, or birch. Bamboo are designed as a cheap bat for BP, so you dont break a good bat. I had a bamboo, and I can say I never liked it one bit. SamBats are my favorite that I've ever used, a bit pricey, but mine lasted me a year and a half with many balls to the handle and the inside of the barrel.
Comment by Kevin Edgington on June 5, 2012 at 1:39pm try to stick with bamboo they never break and get good pop
Comment by Joshua Hinz on June 5, 2012 at 12:01pm Old Hickory makes some really nice ones a little pricey but they're very durable
Comment by Nick Dymkowski on June 5, 2012 at 9:35am I love my Mizuno Bamboo bat. Damn thing is sturdy as all hell, and for 70$ it's not that expensive.
Comment by Hunter Tipton on June 5, 2012 at 3:24am Have to agree on the M9's...Model 271....except I go through 3 or 4 a summer. You have to find one that has the right feel for you, however...
Comment by Justin Berkstresser on June 5, 2012 at 1:37am i agree with connor ive had 2 viper bats and they were both great.
